Web Graphing is is a tool online whats allows you graph functions over the internet. This is a free software that is especially useful in the visualization of a polynomial function for a Calculus AB AP project where I have to create a 3-D model of the function. The website will graph the function for you without the use of a graphing calculator and can be scaled for the use of creating the model. All you have to do is enter the function onto the site.

PinkMonkey

PinkMonkey is a free website that provides aides to understand and review complex literature. It can be used in English class to understand Shakespeare's works and be able to translate them into modern English for when you need to prepare and act out an important scene for the class to understand.

Recuva

Recuva is a free tool that can help you recover almost any digital data, such as Word documents and emails, that was deleted or lost due to a program crash. Recuva can be used in any class that involves you having to use the computer to type reports or create presentations like in laboratory sciences and in English class. Recuva can recover an extensive secondary source research paper for Biology on the works of other scientists in the case it is accidentally deleted.

Httrack

Httrack is a free website that allows you to save an entire website. You will be able to browse it offline like you were on the site itself. This technology can be used to help a student in World History class doing a report on the cultures of the indigenous Amazonians. The student would be able to work on the project where there is restricted or no internet access such as in classrooms and while traveling. I have used this tool on such projects to complete my report on time while on vacation at Santa Clara, California and it saved me from staying awake long hours the day before it was due.

The ARTFL Project

The ARTFL Project is a free technology that is a compilation of American and French dictionaries and references. It can be used in French class as a translator for when you are participating in the recreation of a French Restaurant where you have to translate recipes in French into English for you to be able to cook dishes of food.

AVS Disc Creator

AVS Disc Creator is a free technology that is used to burn video and image files onto DVD discs and Blu-Ray discs. This can be used in any class that requires presentations such as English, World History, Digital Media, and other classes. AVS Disc Creator will help you create a DVD that can be read by any laptop or computer at school when you are doing a video presentation in World History class about terrorism. It is very beneficial as you will not have to worry about the format of digital files.

Tux Paint is a free software that is a user-friendly drawing program. It can be used in a Computer Literacy class to help you learn to use the tools provided on the computer. It can also be used in a Web Page Design class to create a mascot for a website you are creating for children.

Connectify

 Connectify is a free software that connects mobile devices. It can be used in any class that requires group research work such as for history or English classes. You can use Connectify to share wifi from your phone at a park with your group member's laptop to do a report on World War II, and when there is no wifi, it can also be used to share files.

Dropbox

Dropbox is a free technology that allows you to store and share files online and between digital devices. It can be used in Digital Media class when you are combining different parts of an animation to create one final video when only one member of your group has the software to do so.

Khan Academy is a website that provides free education videos of course lessons for science, math, and other classes. It can help you understand a lesson in Physics class when you missed the lecture for the topic due to absence.
